Logz.io Debuts Multiple Tracing Accounts and Jaeger Architecture Visualization
Blog post from Logz.io
Logz.io has enhanced its tracing and metrics analytics capabilities by introducing Multiple Tracing Accounts within its Distributed Tracing feature, allowing users to organize their data by segmenting it according to sources and teams. This enables users to separate staging and production data or differentiate between organizational branches. Users can manage their tracing data sources through the Logz.io UI, with the capacity to allocate spans by priority or need and set access permissions for new accounts. Although an aggregated view of multiple sources is not yet available within the tracing section, the Kibana UI for logging provides this functionality. Additionally, Logz.io has released a Jaeger System Architecture visualization, offering a graphical representation of microservice communication patterns, albeit without traffic endpoints. The company credits its team and customer feedback for these developments and anticipates future updates related to Logz.io Distributed Tracing and open-source initiatives in the Jaeger and OpenTelemetry communities.
