Using Pavex for Rust web development

Pavex is an emerging Rust web framework developed by Luca Palmieri, aimed at delivering a high-performance, ergonomic, and user-friendly development experience on top of the Hyper framework. Currently in beta, Pavex emphasizes compile-time safety, improved error messaging, and a clean API to reduce the learning curve often associated with Rust frameworks. It supports features such as async/await, middleware, and concurrency, and is designed to build applications ranging from small-scale to enterprise-grade. The framework requires the Rust toolchain and specific setup steps, including installing cargo-px and the Pavex CLI tool. Pavex distinguishes itself with its Blueprint type for route definitions and intuitive handling of request data using Serde. Although not yet open-source, Pavex is intended to introduce a usage-based pricing model. It stands out for its better documentation and error handling in comparison to existing Rust frameworks like Actix Web, Rocket, Axum, and Warp.
