Announcing the LocalStack for AWS 2026.04.0 Release

LocalStack for AWS 2026.04.0 introduces several significant updates, including the launch of App Inspector, which enhances observability for local cloud development by monitoring AWS environments for misconfigurations and errors. This release also features end-to-end Athena and S3 Tables federation via Glue catalogs, enabling direct querying of S3 data through Athena, and introduces native execution for custom resource types in the CloudFormation registry.
