Permissions-aware content retrieval with SharePoint and LlamaCloud

LlamaCloud's integration with SharePoint introduces a permissions-aware feature that aligns with SharePoint's granular access controls, allowing for controlled document access within RAG applications. The integration process involves creating an Index on LlamaCloud, setting up a SharePoint data source requiring a Site Name, Client ID, secret, and tenant ID, and configuring data sink and OpenAI embeddings with default settings. Once deployed, LlamaCloud syncs with SharePoint to parse, chunk, and index documents, displaying them on the Index page where users can view detailed access information via the "chunks" tab. By managing access in SharePoint and syncing with LlamaCloud, users can ensure that permission changes are reflected in the application, enabling the creation of permission-sensitive RAG apps.
