LlamaIndex celebrated its first anniversary by highlighting significant milestones and recent advancements, including the introduction of a Multi-Modal RAG Stack for complex document and image queries, and new OpenAIAssistantAgent abstractions for connecting the OpenAI Assistant API with vector databases. The platform also rolled out enhancements such as parallel function calling for efficient data extraction and offered experimental GPT-4-vision support for improved chatbot interactions.
