LightSprint is like Lovable on your existing codebase
Blog post from LightSprint
Lovable cannot directly connect to or edit an existing GitHub repository because its Git sync creates a new repository and supports only one synced branch, while reconnecting also generates another repository. Its ZIP-based import feature is a migration rather than an integration: it inspects and rebuilds an application as a new Lovable project on TanStack Start, moves database and user infrastructure to Lovable’s backend, has file-size and rollout limitations, and can cause the original and imported codebases to diverge. This approach may suit prototypes or new applications, but teams operating production software often need changes to remain within their established repository, conventions, CI, branch protections, and review process. The text presents coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex as options for engineers working directly in a repository, and positions LightSprint as an alternative for broader teams by generating plans, isolated previews, and pull requests that use the existing repository’s review and merge workflows.
