Lightdash has introduced an embedding feature for its Cloud users, allowing the integration of Lightdash charts and dashboards directly into applications, platforms, or websites. This capability aims to empower end users with self-service data access, offering interactive, mobile-responsive, and configurable analytics. The feature includes robust security with row and column-level protection and is priced on a usage basis, ensuring affordability. It provides a seamless developer experience with no additional library dependencies required, and admins can control which dashboards are embeddable and customize user access and interactivity options. Lightdash Embedding also offers a generous free tier with 1,000 free embedded views monthly, and the pricing model is designed to be transparent and scalable based on the number of views. This feature is currently in public preview, and Lightdash invites user feedback for future enhancements.
