Langfuse's May update, part of their Launch Week, introduced several new features designed to streamline the transition of AI applications from prototype to production. Key developments include the introduction of Code Evaluators, which allow users to write Python or TypeScript functions for objective checks directly in the Langfuse UI, and a new full-text search capability that significantly reduces search times using ClickHouse's FTS engine. The Langfuse MCP server now manages a wide range of tools beyond prompt management, facilitating comprehensive production issue investigations. The update also includes CI/CD experiments, enabling Langfuse experiments to run within GitHub Actions, and an Agent Skill playbook to enhance AI coding agents' capabilities.
