LambdaTest has introduced a feature called LambdaTest Tunnel, designed to streamline automated screenshot testing of web pages hosted on local or private servers. This feature allows developers and testers to connect their local environments with LambdaTest’s cloud servers to capture screenshots across various devices and operating systems, ensuring visual consistency and responsive design before deploying changes to production. The platform supports testing on over 2000 browser versions and provides tools for responsive testing on 44 different devices. Additionally, LambdaTest has launched a feature to save favorite browser configurations for quick access during screenshot testing. They also offer a workaround for issues with macOS and iOS browsers when testing locally hosted pages by using the local computer's IP instead of "localhost." Continuous improvements to the platform are driven by customer feedback, emphasizing LambdaTest’s commitment to enhancing their cloud-based testing ecosystem.
