LambdaTest has introduced UnderPass, a desktop application designed to streamline the testing of locally or privately hosted web applications by automating the process of initiating a LambdaTest Tunnel. This new tool eliminates the need to use the command line, allowing users to simply download, install, and launch the application with their LambdaTest credentials. UnderPass features a built-in terminal that displays LambdaTest Tunnel logs and offers advanced configurations for proxy details and server ports. Additionally, it includes a Man-in-the-Middle toggle for testing websites with self-signed certificates. Currently in beta, UnderPass aims to enhance remote testing capabilities, especially crucial during the COVID-19 pandemic, as it provides a cloud-based testing infrastructure to support workflows from home.
