Labelbox raises $100M+ Series E
Blog post from LabelBox
Labelbox announced more than $100 million in Series E financing, including equity and a credit facility, at a $1.25 billion pre-money valuation, led by Infinitum Partners with participation from several existing and new investors. The company says it has evolved from providing training-data tools to developing Horizon, a platform that creates realistic reinforcement-learning environments for frontier AI labs, and Recursion Managed Agents, enterprise agents designed to perform jobs autonomously, be graded on their results, and improve from prior work. Labelbox reports serving more than 400 customers, working with over 90% of leading U.S. AI labs, operating millions of virtual machines, and drawing on an expert network of more than 4 million people. Having reached profitability while growing more than fivefold year over year, the company plans to use the financing to expand research, engineering, customer support, and compute capacity for its model-training and agent products.
