Enabling gRPC and HTTP/2 support at the edge with Kuma and Envoy

Koyeb offers a serverless platform designed to deploy applications globally in under five minutes, emphasizing high-end performance through meticulous infrastructure management. This includes deploying apps inside microVMs on high-end bare metal servers worldwide, with edge acceleration and a global load-balancing layer to optimize network performance. The platform supports advanced protocols like HTTP/2 and gRPC, which reduce latency and enable new applications, although HTTP/3 support is not yet available. Koyeb uses an Envoy proxy orchestrated by Kuma with Cloudflare's edge network to load-balance traffic globally, and a protocol selector allows users to specify whether their services should use HTTP/1.x or HTTP/2, ensuring seamless communication.
