As companies increasingly adopt multi-cloud strategies, API providers face challenges in delivering scalable APIs while adhering to security requirements across different cloud platforms. A centralized Center of Excellence (COE) for reviewing APIs is often inefficient and becomes a bottleneck. To address these challenges, declarative configuration using APIOps, Kong Gateway, and Open Policy Agent (OPA) offers a solution by automating API lifecycle processes, including validation and authorization.
