Introducing data sources

Knock has launched a new feature called data sources, which allows users to connect events from various tools to their messaging infrastructure without any coding required. This enables seamless integration of events from services like Stripe, Supabase, PostHog, Clerk, and WorkOS, allowing for actions such as user creation, workflow triggering, and audience updates when specific events occur. Unlike other messaging platforms, Knock supports integration with any event source and provides pre-configured data sources that handle verification and action mappings, simplifying the process for users. Additionally, Knock offers a custom data source feature that lets users integrate any external provider or internal events service into Knock, with the ability to transform and verify data using a flexible scripting framework. This new functionality is available to all Knock customers, enhancing their ability to manage and automate messaging workflows efficiently.
