JetBrains Toolbox App 3.8 improves update reliability, keyboard accessibility, and cleanup visibility. On macOS, the app now keeps manual IDE updates available when the operating system incorrectly identifies an installation directory as protected, while providing instructions if an update is actually blocked. Windows users can again navigate Tools and Projects with Ctrl+1 and Ctrl+2 and move through filtered or long lists using arrow, page, home, and end keys. The release also adds detailed progress indicators for removing leftover IDE directories and prevents duplicate cleanup actions until deletion and rescanning are complete.
