Summary

JetBrains is renaming its 13-year-old User Group Support Program as the JetBrains Developer Communities Program to reflect the growth of online, hybrid, and varied developer community formats. The expanded initiative supports active, established online communities, local meetups, workshops, hybrid events, and other developer-focused efforts through resources that may include IDE subscriptions, giveaways, swag, ready-to-use content, speaker connections, promotional visibility, selected event sponsorships, and access to JetBrains offices. Support will be tailored to each community’s activities, location, needs, and resources, while current program participants will transition automatically without reapplying. Student clubs are excluded and are directed to the JetBrains Student Pack, and beginning in 2027, JetBrains plans annual check-ins with participating communities to guide ongoing collaboration.
