Rider introduces an AI Agent Setup widget in the status bar that centralizes configuration for agent-related features such as MCP tools, skills, and hooks, while hook updates limit inspection feedback to agent-added code and provide formatting diffs for clearer context. Both Rider and ReSharper gain dotCover support for measuring TUnit test coverage, requiring the JetBrains.dotCover.Framework package and Microsoft.Testing.Platform 2.3.0 or later. Rider also fixes a macOS 26.2.2 issue that could indefinitely freeze the IDE during large solution loading, improves Unity Editor attachment for newer Unity Hub and custom builds, and enables MCP file operations across all folders attached to a solution.
