Summary

Rider 2026.2.3 adds AI-assisted performance analysis to the Monitoring tool window, allowing users to send runtime data from application sessions to an AI agent that uses the dottrace-analyze skill to identify bottlenecks, trace hot code paths, and provide performance insights in chat. The Analyze with AI action is available from the Performance tab and for older snapshots in the dotTrace tool window, but requires Windows, the AI Assistant plugin, and either dotUltimate or the All Products Pack. The release also fixes a Windows issue introduced in Rider 2026.2.2 that could prevent the AI Agent Setup widget from opening when display scaling was below 175%, and the update is available through the IDE, JetBrains Toolbox App, or the Rider website.
