ReSharper 2026.1: Built-in Performance Monitoring, Expansion to VS Code, and Faster Everyday Workflows | The .NET Tools Blog
Blog post from JetBrains
ReSharper 2026.1 introduces significant improvements to enhance performance monitoring, expand support beyond Visual Studio, and streamline coding workflows. This update includes a new Monitoring tool window exclusive to the dotUltimate subscription, offering integrated runtime performance insights, which replaces the Dynamic Program Analysis feature set to be retired in the next release. The update extends ReSharper's C# tooling to Visual Studio Code and other compatible editors, while also delivering faster solution indexing, code completion, and analysis, aiming to make Visual Studio more responsive through Out-of-Process mode enhancements. The release also modernizes the UI for completion lists and popups, improves C# support with features like extension member handling, and adds early support for upcoming language elements. Furthermore, ReSharper 2026.1 enhances C++ performance with better startup times and lower memory usage in Unreal Engine projects, alongside new inspections and coding assistance features.
