Summary

JetBrains has released bug-fix updates for MPS 2026.2 RC2, 2026.1.2, 2025.3.3, 2025.2.5, and 2025.1.5 to address a critical security issue related to compromised eMudhra certificates. Users of MPS 2025.1.5 and 2025.2.5 must also disable JCEF through the ide.browser.jcef.enabled Registry flag, while developers distributing MPS-based RCP applications should take additional security measures because JBR and JCEF are affected. MPS 2026.1.2 and 2026.2 RC2 additionally include planned Projectional Agent Toolkit enhancements, such as a consolidated MCP tool API, performance improvements, type-system tools, quick-fixes, log access, project management capabilities, automatic skill database updates, and corrections for SModel expressions in parsed Java statements. The older 2025 releases contain only the security fix, and users are advised to consult the related security announcement and update their MPS installations.
