JetBrains Academy is launching an October Build Your Game Challenge that invites participants to complete its Build a Game With an AI Coding Agent course, enhance the resulting game with original features, and submit it through the community Discord server. The challenge begins October 12, submissions and community voting open October 19, both close October 23, and winners will be announced October 28. Entrants may use any development setup, with JetBrains promoting its Air IDE integration and free Junie Lite coding agent as an accessible option, while allowing stronger agents or personal AI subscriptions for more ambitious work. Winners will be selected through community reactions and a JetBrains jury evaluating creativity, originality, gameplay, and player experience, with digital gift-card prizes ranging from four $50 jury awards to a $400 Community Choice first prize.
