Employee Spotlight: Serena Fritsch

Meet Serena Fritsch, a Product Engineer at Intercom's Dublin office who has been with the company for six years. Born in Germany and originally interested in journalism, Serena studied computer science and discovered her passion for engineering through working with distributed systems and large systems. She joined Intercom after attending an engineering meet-up event and was impressed by the company culture, which emphasizes collaboration and a desire to learn from one another. In her free time, Serena enjoys problem-solving, running, and writing short stories, although she hopes to pursue creative writing in the future. Serena offers advice to aspiring engineers, particularly women, telling them not to doubt themselves and to seek out supportive people who can guide them on their journey.
