New in observability: Function Metrics

Function Metrics is a new beta feature announced by Inngest that provides observability into how background jobs and workflows are operating. This feature allows users to view function throughput and SDK request throughput charts on each function dashboard, with the option to show concurrency settings limits being hit. The goal of Function Metrics is to simplify operations for users by providing useful information out-of-the-box, unlike existing tools such as BullMQ, Sidekiq, Celery, Oban, and Kafka. Future improvements include alerting features and enhanced metrics capabilities, with user feedback being crucial in shaping the future of Inngest.
