Release Announcement: InfluxDB 1.7.0 and Chronograf 1.7.0

InfluxDB 1.7.0 and Chronograf 1.7.0 have been released with significant performance improvements, including boosted shard compaction and faster query performance through the Time Series Index (TSI). The new release also introduces Flux v0.7, a functional query language that unlocks new capabilities within InfluxDB. Additionally, Chronograf has received numerous feature additions, including predefined dashboards for various platforms, markdown notes on dashboards, scoped annotations, and UI improvements to the Data Explorer page. The binaries are available on the downloads page, with an InfluxDB Enterprise 1.7 release planned for later this month.
