InfluxDB Master Branch to Switch to 2.0 on Jan 11

The master branch of InfluxDB will be switched to the alpha version of 2.0 on January 11th, marking a breaking change from 1.x. The current 2.0 work is happening in the platform repo, which will eventually replace the archived 1.x codebase. From then on, all commits to master will focus on the 2.0 line, with quick iterations and versioned alpha releases planned for the coming weeks. This phase aims to gather community feedback and iterate on features before moving into beta mode and eventually releasing the final 2.0 version.
