Telegraf 1.40 Release Notes
Blog post from InfluxData
Telegraf 1.40 is a feature-bearing release that adds Databricks Zerobus output support for streaming metrics directly to Unity Catalog Delta tables over gRPC and a FRITZ!Box Smarthome input for collecting device metrics such as lamp status and energy consumption. The release also updates Cisco Model-Driven Telemetry handling, changing some metric formats while correcting aliases, tag sets, and table row-number tags, and fixes Smart input parsing so power-on-hours values in duration formats are reported accurately. It removes the deprecated Aerospike, sFlow, and Amon plugins, along with several obsolete configuration options in Kafka Consumer, OpenStack, Procstat, and Tail inputs, for which users can use the telegraf config migrate command. In addition, the Elasticsearch query input now uses official maintained libraries and supports Elasticsearch versions 7, 8, and 9; binaries, support channels, and a Telegraf data-collection course are available through InfluxDB resources.
