InfluxData has released an enhanced version of its leading Time Series Database, InfluxDB 1.7, which delivers major query performance and data compaction improvements to support faster and more efficient processing of time series data used in various applications such as DevOps, IoT, containers, real-time analytics, and cloud computing. The new release was announced at InfluxDays San Francisco 2018 and provides developers with robust tools to query and process large amounts of time series data. Additionally, the company has also announced a technical preview of Flux, a query language designed for InfluxDB.
