InfluxData has hired Jim Walsh, a former Salesforce executive, as its new Senior Vice President of Engineering, bringing over two decades of experience from Microsoft where he co-founded the Bing engineering team and started the Cosmos data platform. Walsh also co-founded cybersecurity firm Versive, which was acquired by eSentire in 2018. He expressed his excitement to join InfluxData, highlighting the company's leadership in time series platforms and its potential to derive value and insight from increasingly sensorized environments.
