At InfluxDays North America, InfluxData announced new features and capabilities aimed at improving the developer experience. These include InfluxDB Notebooks for testing ideas and creating alerts without writing code, Client Libraries for auto-generating application code in over 10 languages, and a Flux VS Code Extension for writing Flux code with syntax checking, autocompletion, and schema explorer. Additionally, new features were introduced to enhance InfluxDB Cloud, such as the Explicit Schema option for protecting against unwanted changes, API-invocable scripts for defining parameterized Flux scripts that can be invoked in applications, and customization of Flux for time zone and location.
