Announcing Kapacitor v0.10: Support for Custom Functions, More Integrations and a Dead Man's Switch
Blog post from InfluxData
Kapacitor v0.10 introduces support for custom functions in any programming language via Protocol Buffer RPC, enabling users to write monitoring, alerting, and processing code through User Defined Functions (UDFs). The update also adds integrations with several popular alerting systems, including HipChat, OpsGenie, Alerta, Sensu, PagerDuty, Slack, and VictorOps. Additionally, Kapacitor now features a dead man's switch that can be configured to trigger an alert if a task doesn't receive data for a configurable duration. The next release will focus on expanding UDF integrations and improving stability and performance.
