Hookdeck for Hermes Agent: Reliable webhook-triggered agent runs

Hookdeck has released hermes-hookdeck, an official plugin for Nous Research’s self-hosted Hermes AI agent that makes webhook-triggered agent runs more reliable through Hookdeck’s Event Gateway and a persistent local SQLite run ledger. The plugin addresses production webhook risks including duplicate deliveries, burst traffic, missed signature verification, lost events during downtime, failed runs after acknowledgement, and crashes or restarts that interrupt in-progress work. It supports verification schemes for more than 140 providers, server-side event queuing and retry behavior, durable deduplication, recovery of interrupted runs, and operator commands for monitoring, pausing, resuming, retrying, and diagnosing webhook flows. It also gives Hermes tools and a triage skill to inspect failed events, group them by error type, selectively retry recoverable failures, and report unresolved issues. By default, the Hookdeck CLI forwards events over an outbound connection to a local Hermes listener, allowing use behind NAT without exposing a public URL, while public deployments can use additional rate-limit, alerting, and issue-trigger features.
