Designing Honeycomb for Our Users
Blog post from Honeycomb
Honeycomb has been undergoing visual and user experience improvements, driven by a growing design team established since January 2020, which has expanded to six members. The team has been enhancing the user-centered approach by integrating design philosophy and process, with a focus on creating a design system called Lattice. This system aims to increase productivity by promoting consistency and reducing duplication across the company. Foundational elements such as typography, spacing, and iconography are being refined to improve readability and accessibility, ultimately enhancing the overall user experience. As part of these changes, user research on the current information architecture is underway to streamline navigation and interaction within Honeycomb, making it more intuitive and effortless for users. These updates, visible through before-and-after comparisons, signal a commitment to ongoing improvement and user feedback.
