Always Bee Tracing, SF/Bay Area Jan 24. 2019

The Hands-on Tracing workshop, held on January 24, 2019, in San Francisco, provided attendees with in-depth knowledge and practical experience in data tracing using Honeycomb. Participants, including software engineers, developers, and DevOps professionals, started with an overview of tracing concepts and successful use cases before engaging in hands-on activities with sample code and real data. The workshop involved working with an example application to add and iterate on instrumentation, deploy it, and utilize Honeycomb to troubleshoot a production issue. Attendees also had the opportunity to instrument their own systems during "Office Hours," with Honeycomb engineers available for guidance and technical assistance. The event concluded with a casual happy hour to facilitate further discussions among participants.
