Introducing Advanced Compute Profiles

Hex is introducing Advanced Compute Profiles to give its Team and Enterprise customers more firepower, with up to "4XL" (16 CPUs and 128GB RAM) and "V100 GPU" (1 V100 GPU, 16GB GPU RAM, 6 CPUS, 56GB CPU RAM) compute options. These profiles come with a new idle timeout setting, allowing users to adjust how long notebook kernels stay alive after the project run has completed. Advanced Compute Profiles are charged on a simple, pay-per-minute model and offer predictable spend and observability for admins. The new feature aims to minimize tool sprawl and streamline advanced data science and ML workflows, making it easy to set up and collaborate on resource-intensive projects.
