Building ML Models In Minutes With Hex and Snowflake Cortex

Snowflake's Cortex ML functions enable users to build machine learning models using only SQL, making it easier for large enterprises to adopt ML models. These functions are easy to use and provide security while being accessible to anyone with basic SQL knowledge. Currently, four Cortex ML functions are available, including the forecasting function. Using Hex, a data analysis platform, users can implement these functions by connecting to Snowflake and writing SQL code. The Forecast function automatically uses relevant columns for training and excludes NULL values. Partitioned model training is also possible with an additional line of SQL code in Cortex ML functions.
