GraphQL Operation Time Limit in Hasura Cloud
Blog post from Hasura
Hasura Cloud introduces a new feature allowing users to set an operation time limit or timeout for their GraphQL operations. This prevents malicious intent by limiting the amount of data that can be queried and helps maintain optimal performance by preventing large queries from slowing down the database. The platform supports setting a global time limit, as well as configuring timeouts per role. In case of an error due to exceeding the time limit, the server responds with an error object and cancels the underlying query execution. This feature is particularly useful in maintaining optimal performance for applications using GraphQL operations.
