Summary

Amazon Athena's GraphQL Data Connector for Hasura has been released in beta. This integration allows users to query against Amazon Athena using Hasura. Currently, the connector is available for read-only queries and only for Hasura Enterprise Edition (EE) and all Hasura Cloud customers. Once it moves to General Availability (GA), it will be exclusive to EE and Hasura Cloud Enterprise plans. The combination of Hasura and Amazon Athena enables users to analyze unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data stored in S3 using ANSI SQL queries. This integration extends the capabilities of Athena to the entire data tier by providing a seamless GraphQL API for disparate data sources.
