New HCP Vault Secrets, Radar, and other features fight secret sprawl
Blog post from HashiCorp
HashiCorp Vault is announcing several new features and updates at HashiConf, including the alpha program for HCP Vault Radar, general availability of HCP Vault Secrets, and a beta release of secrets sync in Vault Enterprise 1.15. The new capabilities aim to help organizations secure their applications and services as they adopt a cloud operating model. HCP Vault Radar automates secret detection and remediation, while HCP Vault Secrets provides a managed offering for secrets management. The secrets sync feature allows teams to centralize their secrets management across multiple platforms, reducing the attack surface and improving compliance. These updates aim to fight secret sprawl, reduce operational costs, improve speed of delivery, and lower risk for organizations using HashiCorp Vault.
