We've begun releasing new versions of Terraform's utility providers that deprecate support for Terraform 0.11. HashiCorp has started introducing major releases for all its utility providers, which will improve the providers and move them forward alongside Terraform. These releases will eventually close issues related to Terraform 0.11 that are not reproducible in TF 0.13 and beyond. It is recommended to pin the version of the providers currently used to guard against breaking changes, especially for users unable to upgrade to TF 0.12 or above. Users with existing pinned provider versions do not need to take any action, while those using Terraform 0.12 or higher will continue to work as usual. If issues arise during deprecation, users can open an issue on their preferred provider repository or contact HashiCorp support.
