The AzureRM Provider has released version 2.0.0, bringing significant improvements including the separation of Virtual Machine and Virtual Machine Scale Set resources, introduction of custom timeouts, and removal of deprecated resources and data sources. The new version offers more flexibility and control over resource configurations, while also simplifying the overall experience for users. The provider now includes additional resources such as azurerm_linux_virtual_machine, azurerm_windows_virtual_machine, and azurem_virtual_machine_scale_set_extension, allowing users to select specific types of Virtual Machines and Scale Sets. Custom timeouts can be set for resources, providing more control over resource deletion windows. In this release, deprecated resources, data sources, and fields have been removed, making way for a major release and new features.
