Security is a priority, with features such as fine-grained role-based access control, security scanner integrations, and comprehensive audit trails, ensuring adherence to industry standards. The registry offers end-to-end traceability of artifacts, crucial for maintaining software quality and regulatory compliance. Looking ahead, Harness plans to integrate AI capabilities, including AI-assisted search, into the registry. Available commercially and as part of Harness Open Source, it aims to simplify artifact management, boost DevOps efficiency, and strengthen software supply chain security.
