How to Create Multi Source Applications with Harness GitOps
Blog post from Harness
Harness GitOps has introduced multi-source application support, allowing modern DevOps teams to manage applications that pull from multiple repositories seamlessly. This feature, currently in beta and requiring a specific feature flag to be enabled, is built on ArgoCD's multi-source functionality and supports GitOps Version 1.23.0 and GitOps Agent Version 0.83.0. It enhances application flexibility by letting users consolidate resources from various sources, designate reference repositories, and choose specific sources during synchronization, thus streamlining workflows. Configuring a multi-source application involves enabling the feature flag, adding the application, selecting repositories, and finalizing the setup, with the ability to selectively sync sources during operations. This advancement empowers teams to manage multi-repository workflows efficiently, providing greater control and flexibility in application management.
