This model outlines 11 critical pillars, such as development process and incident management, to drive operational excellence in software development. It supplements existing frameworks like DORA by providing specific guidance on enhancing engineering capabilities. The initiative includes a survey assessment tool that allows teams to evaluate their practices and compare their scores with industry benchmarks. Harness's effort is to foster a collaborative environment for engineering leaders, enabling them to learn from each other and codify best practices, thereby promoting innovation and growth in the industry.
