Gumloop's App Policies provide a framework for organizations to define and enforce constraints on agent actions across connected tools like Salesforce, BigQuery, Gmail, and HubSpot, using plain English descriptions that are converted into enforceable policies. These policies live at the organizational level, allowing administrators to set rules that prevent unauthorized actions, such as blocking email communications outside specified domains or preventing destructive database queries. The policies are enforced in real-time, ensuring any action that violates a policy is blocked before reaching an external tool, with users receiving feedback on which policy was violated. This system ensures comprehensive control over agent activities without adding latency, as it uses lightweight enforcement logic like regex patterns. The admin panel provides visibility into all blocked actions and policies in effect, and administrators can pre-test policies against historical data to understand their impact before activation. App Policies are currently available for Enterprise organizations using Gumloop, facilitating the automation of workflows without requiring coding.
