GrowthBook 5.1: Learn faster with a new MCP server, Slack app, and contextual bandits

GrowthBook 5.1, available to cloud and self-hosted users, expands the company’s experimentation platform with AI-assisted tools intended to support a continuous product-learning cycle. The release adds contextual bandits that personalize variant delivery and automatically adjust traffic, funnel metrics for assessing completion and drop-off across multistep experiences, and a Hosted MCP and OAuth server with more than 30 AI skills that can help agents create experiments and publish feature flags. It also introduces Learnings, a shared library for recording and retrieving experimental findings, along with a beta Slack app for querying GrowthBook data, interacting with its AI assistant, and receiving notifications or digests. Product Analytics enhancements include User Journeys for examining actions before and after key events, AI-generated shareable dashboards based on natural-language prompts, and a redesigned SQL Explorer that enables broader warehouse analysis without predefined metrics.
