Graphite has introduced Graphite Reviewer, an AI companion designed to enhance developer productivity by streamlining the review process of pull requests, now available as part of their platform used by engineers at companies like Snowflake and Asana. This tool aims to address the challenges posed by the rapid production of new code due to advancements in AI, offering instantaneous, high-accuracy feedback with less than a 3% false-positive rate. Integrated seamlessly into the Graphite dashboard and synced with GitHub, Graphite Reviewer uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation to provide context-aware feedback, detect bugs, and enforce custom codebase rules with no setup required. It is available for free in October, after which it will become a paid add-on. The tool has already proven to be a key component in improving workflow efficiency for both the Graphite team and external beta testers.
