Graphite is enhancing its code review process on GitHub with new features designed to simplify working with stacked changes, which can be cumbersome and prone to errors without proper tooling. The launch includes four key features: Stack Edit, which introduces a robust interface for creating and editing stacks of pull requests (PRs) with shared labels, reviewers, and settings; Stack Visualization, which provides a clear view of the broader context of any PR within a stack; an interactive terminal tutorial called "gt demo" for learning how to use Graphite effectively; and AI-generated stack titles that offer reviewers a concise understanding of a stack's overall purpose. These innovations aim to streamline and automate the review process, making it more efficient and accessible, with some features currently available in private beta.
