Google I/O 2016 promises an expanded experience with over 100 technical talks now available for planning, offering insights into optimizing app performance, creating accessible user experiences, and building Progressive Web Apps using Firebase Hosting. This year’s event has been extended to a third day to accommodate more sessions in larger venues, structured across 14 tracks such as Android and the Mobile Web. For those unable to attend in person, over 200 I/O Extended events worldwide and multiple live stream channels will allow remote participation, with all sessions available on YouTube post-event. The event will also feature Codelabs for hands-on learning with support from Googlers, and additional talks will be announced closer to the event, including some directly following the keynote.
