Solution Challenge 2024 – Using Google Technology to Address UN Sustainable Development Goals

Celebrating its 5th anniversary, the Google Developer Student Clubs Solution Challenge continues to engage university students worldwide in using Google technologies to develop innovative solutions for real-world problems. The initiative has seen participation from over 110 countries, with more than 4,000 projects submitted, each addressing one or more of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Participants are encouraged to use technologies like Android, Firebase, TensorFlow, Google Cloud, and Flutter to tackle issues such as economic growth and climate action. The challenge offers various prizes, including mentorship, cash awards, and opportunities to showcase projects during a live virtual Demo Day. Students interested in participating can register, select a goal, and submit their project by February 22, 2024, with support from Google resources like online Q&A sessions, mentorship, codelabs, and design guidelines. Winners will be announced in three rounds, culminating in a live announcement of the top three teams in June.
