Introducing AppSheet databases: Build data driven apps for Google Workspace

AppSheet, Google's no-code platform for creating custom applications and automations within Google Workspace, has introduced AppSheet databases in public preview to enhance data management for citizen developers. This built-in database allows users to manage data securely and easily, integrating seamlessly with other Google Workspace products like Gmail and Google Drive. During the public preview, AppSheet databases are available at no extra cost, with limitations of 10,000 rows per table, 20 tables per database, and 20 databases per user, though these may change upon general release. Users can create a blank database directly from the My Apps page and utilize a comprehensive toolset for relational data design and management. Google encourages feedback during this preview phase to refine the feature, with plans for general availability next year, and offers resources such as support pages, office hours, and instructional videos to assist users in getting started.
